subculture music collective (smc) is a small team of like-minded individuals who come together to uplift diy ethics through all subculture art forms. We believe independent music scenes are worth protecting from corporate consolidation and commodification.
what do we do?
our main force of work is hosting local music shows in orange county and los angeles. as well as interviewing and showcasing local artists, community developers, MUSICIANS, and political activists.
political advocacy
smc supports political causes through CHARITY work with the profit made from our local shows. we also showcase current events, create voting guides, and partner with local students trying to make a change in their community.
